Martha’s Vineyard Community Services is thrilled to announce a new program offering, Next Chapter, beginning February 17th. This is an ongoing monthly offering the third Thursday of each month at 5:30pm.  Next Chapter is geared towards families and caregivers of adults with disabilities, navigating “what comes next”. We believe parents, families and individuals with lived experiences are the greatest resources of all. Therefore, we want to create a space for families to gather, meet, discuss experiences, and learn from each other. Each meeting will offer two components, first being time for networking and general conversation, and the second being dedicated to a specific topic of interest. We will invite professionals from across the field to present out on their areas of expertise, addressing your questions and needs.  We will begin on Thursday 2/17 hearing directly from you, what tops your priority lists, what are your unanswered questions. We will begin via Zoom in February, and revisit safety precautions going forward. We plan to offer a hybrid participation option to ensure greater accessibility. This opportunity is being brought to you by the Family Support Center, a program of MV Community Services.

For questions or TO REGISTER, please contact Angela Knapp, Coordinator of the Family Support Center at aknapp@mvcommunityservices.org
